For generations, the Peeples and Graham families have gathered to celebrate our shared heritage, strengthen family bonds, and create lasting memories. What began as annual family gatherings hosted in the homes of Emily Peeples Hall and Nora Peeples evolved into a cherished tradition that connected relatives across generations. Following their passing, family leaders came together to preserve this legacy and ensure future generations would continue to gather in fellowship and love.

In 1972, Clifford Peeples, son of Nora Peeples, joined with family members Idella Peeples Drayton, Hattie Peeples Miller-Youmans, and others to revive the family gathering tradition.Together, they established what would become the Peeples & Graham Family Reunion.

The committee made several important decisions that continue to guide us today:

• Officially establish the Peeples & Graham Family Reunion

• Continue gathering family members on a regular basis

• Honor Allendale, South Carolina as the ancestral home and foundation of our reunion tradition

The first Peeples & Graham Family Reunion was held on July 4, 1972, in Allendale, South Carolina. Since then, reunions have been held in cities across the country, bringing together family members from near and far while preserving the legacy of those who came before us. More than five decades later, our reunion remains a celebration of family, faith, history, and connection.

As we gather in Atlanta for the 2027 reunion, we honor the generations that built this tradition and look forward to creating new memories for generations to come.

Reunion Milestones
